As a Graphic Designer in the mobile game industry, a common core effort in my work is the creation of both internal and external marketing assets. I have worked in conjunction with liveops, product, and creative services throughout my career to create assets that improve both game monetization and player engagement in numerous genres, from casual rpgs to first person shooters.

BIG FISH GAMES

As a Graphic Designer at Big Fish Games, I created in-game popups and brand materials as well as external marketing assets for mobile casino games: Big Fish Casino and Jackpot Magic Slots. A lot of my work consisted of designing marketing packages for new slot and event releases- these designs involved applying the slot brand to multiple art assets consistently, the goal being to create player awareness of the new slot and drum up excitement for the theme and slot play. Final designs were created in Adobe Photoshop with art assets requested from the Illustration team as well as re-purposed game art.

SUPERCELL

As a Graphic Designer at Supercell, I created in-game ads and external b2b print materials for mobile game: Clash of Clans. My work consisted of designing magazine ads to advertise Clash of Clans to other companies potentially interested in IP partnerships. As well as in game, and email newsletter marketing to create player awareness of the new Clash of Clans Comic Book. Final designs were created in Adobe Photoshop with game art assets as well as illustration work from external contractors.

MACHINE ZONE

As a Graphic Designer at Machine Zone, I was responsible for creating in-game popups for mobile MMOs: Mobile Strike, Game of War, and Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire. These popups included targeted ads for troops, resources, gear, and special offers. I designed exclusively in Adobe Photoshop, character, gear, and iconography assets came from game art, and any additional assets (bgs etc) came from stock art.
